- 1 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 cup finely chopped pecans
- 1 cup powdered sugar (for dusting)
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Dough
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a large mixing bowl or stand mixer, cream together the softened butter and 1/2 cup powdered sugar until smooth.
Add the salt and vanilla extract. Mix until combined.
Gradually add the flour on low speed, mixing just until incorporated.
