Chocolate Cake with Chocolate Glaze

Prepare the cake:
Preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F). Grease and flour a bundt pan or round cake pan.
In a large bowl, sift together the flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Add the eggs, oil, buttermilk, and vanilla extract to the dry ingredients. Mix until combined.
Gradually add the boiling water to the batter. The batter will be thin, but that’s okay.
Pour the batter into the prepared pan and bake for 30-35 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
Make the chocolate glaze:
In a small saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it begins to simmer.
Add the cocoa powder, sugar, vanilla, and a pinch of salt. Stir until the mixture is smooth and the sugar is dissolved.
Remove from heat and let the glaze cool slightly before drizzling it over the cooled cake.
Serve:
Once the cake is completely cooled, pour the chocolate glaze over the top, letting it drip down the sides.
Slice and enjoy your rich, moist chocolate cake with a glossy chocolate glaze!
