A quick, comforting one-pan meal made with seasoned ground beef, tender pasta, and a creamy, cheesy sauce — perfect for busy weeknights.
🛒 Ingredients
-
1 pound ground beef
-
2 cups uncooked pasta (elbow macaroni or small shells)
-
1 small onion, finely chopped
-
2 cloves garlic, minced
-
2 cups beef broth
-
1 cup milk
-
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
-
2 tablespoons tomato paste
-
1 teaspoon paprika
-
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
-
Salt and black pepper to taste
-
1 tablespoon olive oil (if needed)
👩🍳 Directions
Step 1: Cook the Beef
In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the ground beef until browned. Break it apart as it cooks. Drain excess grease if needed.
Step 2: Add Aromatics
Add chopped onion and cook for 2–3 minutes until softened. Stir in garlic and cook for another 30 seconds until fragrant.
Step 3: Build the Sauce
Mix in tomato paste, paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Pour in the beef broth and milk. Stir well to combine.
Step 4: Add the Pasta
Stir in the uncooked pasta. Bring to a gentle boil, then reduce heat to low. Cover and simmer for about 12–15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the pasta is tender and most of the liquid is absorbed.
Step 5: Add the Cheese
Remove from heat and stir in shredded cheddar cheese until melted and creamy.
