1 whole chicken (approx. 1.5 – 2 kg / 3-4 lbs)
2 tbsp olive oil
1 tbsp dried herbs (e.g., mixed herbs, rosemary, thyme)
1 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder (optional)
Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste
Optional aromatics for cavity: 1 lemon (halved), 1 onion (quartered), a few sprigs of fresh rosemary or thyme
